Who are we? We are a small family business who have steadily grown our business from a starting range of only 20 different wooden toy designs. We started off visiting craft fairs and as a home based business. Today we have a small High Street shop in the historic coastal town of Deal, in Kent.
Why wooden toys? Wooden toys are great, they are well made, wipe clean and often last longer than alternatives - representing good value for money. There are both classic and newer designs to encourage imagination and free play. Many are also designed to have additional educational outcomessuch as the development of recognition, processing and fine motor skills. Our amazing range gives great choices of playsets, food, baby toys, keepsakes such as money and music boxes, educational games, dolls houses and many more. We even have a wide range of decorative materials that make great finishing touches to the nursery.
Which brands do we stock? Ever since the day we started the business, we have looked for lesser known brands to stock alongside the more well know names. We have an extensive selection of the colourful UK-designed Orange Tree Toys range, fair-trade wooden toys from Lanka Kade, personalised items from Ends and nursery furniture by Guidecraft USA. We stock many amazing items by Haba, one of the highest quality wooden toy makers in Germany. More well know brands include Tobar, John Crane, Tidlo, Sevi, Pintoy and Melissa & Doug.
Why buy from us? We know our wooden toys and as we have a High Street shop, we get daily feedback from our customers. We listen to what people like and weeding out items that do not pass a hands-on inspection. As a small business, you will get that extra personal touch. Free shipping is included with mainland UK orders. Customer satisfaction comes before profit and we do the best that we reasonably, and fairly, can.
