Age Guidelines

Many of the products that we sell will come with age guidelines from either the manufacturer or ourselves. These fall into two catagories: the age-groups the manufacturer has designed the toy for (legally required); and specific hazards the toy may pose (legally required).  We have included this information with the products.

While many children will benefit from toys that are either 'too old' or 'too young' for them, please remember that the age suggested by the manufacturer is the age-group the toy is designed for.

Any potential hazards that are highlighted (as legally required) should be considered carefully as the manufacturer and retailer are unable to take responsibility for any consequences that may occur as a result of a clearly labelled hazard. When you see the 'unsuitable for 0-3 years' symbol  please be aware that this represents important safety information and is not a manufacturers guideline or design parameter.

The safety of a child playing with any toy is the responsibility of the supervising adult especially where the packaging or our product description has drawn attention to any safety issue.
